1. In 2012, the YIC organized Round Tables of Discussion about youth’s sexual health in the 21st century in three WAS Federation Congresses: the Asia-Oceania Congress of Sexology (Matsue, Japan), the European Congress of Sexology (Madrid, Spain) and the Latin American Congress of Sexuality Education and Sexology (Medellín, Colombia).
a) The Round Table at the Asia-Oceania Congress of Sexology in Matsue was organized by Masayoshi Yanagida and Antón Castellanos Usigli. Around thirty youths participated in the discussion.
b) The Round Table at the European Congress of Sexology in Madrid was organized by Stefano Eleuteri and Antón Castellanos Usigli. The Round Table had the participation of young people from Spain, Italy and Poland.
c) The Round Table at the Latin American Congress of Sexuality Education and Sexology in Medellín was organized by the Latin American Members of the Committee: Magdalena Rivera, Carlos Cotiz, Yasmany Díaz & Antón Castellanos Usigli.
2. The YIC also organized, for the first time, Youth Symposiums at the European Congress of Sexology (Madrid, Spain) and at the Latin American Congress of Sexuality Education and Sexology (Medellín, Colombia).
