Dr Elna Rudolph is a medical doctor and Sexologist from, working exclusively in the field of sexual medicine since 2010. She is the clinical head of My Sexual Health in South Africa. She has a Higher Diploma in Sexual Health and HIV Medicine through the Colleges of Medicine in South Africa. She is a Fellow of the European Committee for Sexual Medicine, an Honorary Fellow of the Council of Sex Education and Parenthood International as well as an Executive Board member and Director of the South African Sexual Health Association (SASHA). She has published her work in the prestigious International Journal for Sexual Medicine of which she is also a reviewer, written various chapters in textbooks and has been invited to speak at international conferences all over the world.
Elsa Almås is specialist in clinical psychology, specialist in clinical sexology NACS, family therapist IAP, and professor of sexology at the University of Agder in Grimstad, Norway. Elsa Almås has been member of sexological organizations in Norway and the Nordic countries since 1980, and president of the Norwegian Society for Clinical Sexology and Nordic Association for Clinical Sexology. She has also been member of the Advisory Board for the European Federation for Sexology, and is presently European Secretary WAS Executive Committee. Elsa Almås founded the further education program in sexological counselling at the University of Agder in 2001 and is leader of the research group (RESEX) at the University of Agder.
Dr Christopher Fox is a Senior Lecturer in Sexual Health (Sexology). He is also the Psychosexual Therapy Pathway Coordinator for the Postgraduate Program in Sexual and Reproductive Health. Christopher has a background in public health as well as counselling and psychotherapy. He runs a private practice in Melbourne (Sex Life Therapy) as a Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist in addition to his academic position. Christopher’s research interests include sexuality, masculinity and psychosexual/sex therapy. Recently his research has focused on men, masculinity and therapy; ageing sexuality and Baby-boomers in non-normative relationships; and LGBTIQ issues, especially fear of heterosexism and intrafamilial queer-hate crime. Christopher is interested in mixed methodological approaches, and therefore is quantitative (statistics) and qualitative trained.
Patti Britton, PhD, MPH, ACSE/S, ABS, ACSI, FAACS, is a Clinical Sexologist, AASECT-Certified Sexuality Educator/Supervisor & Past President (2006-2008), and the pioneer of Sex Coaching. As a well-respected sexologist, she is an academic, author (5 books), popular speaker, trainer and workshop leader, and hosts DVDs for couples’ sexual enhancement. She frequently appears on summits, in documentaries, and on media. With a private practice in Los Angeles and via Skype globally, Dr. Patti is the Co-Founder of Sex Coach University – the world’s premier credentialing and training organization for sex coaching. She has served on 30+ sexology doctoral committees in and is an elected WAS Advisory Committee member.
Jaqueline Brendler is gynecologist specialized in sexuality and has certification in sexology. More than 80 articles published, invited as a speaker in more than 270 scientific events. Former president of the Brazilian Society of Studies in Human Sexuality (SBRASH), President of WAS’s Congress (2013). Since 2010, it has promoted sexual health and sexual rights mainly through the Coordination in Brazil (in several capitals and cities) of the WSHD. In 2019 belongs to Executive Committee of WAS as Secretary Associate for Americas, is President of the Latin American Federation of Sexology and Sex Education Societies (FLASSES),International Academy of Medical Sexology (AISM) and Deliberative Committee of SBRASH.
