The Council of Past Presidents of the World Association for Sexual Health (WAS) aims to advise and provide guidance to the President of WAS as requested by the President or the Executive Committee. It has a role to keep the heritage and knowledge of many WAS managements with the tasks to maintain institutional life beyond generations. The Chairperson of the Council of Presidents shall be the Immediate Past President.

Kevan Wylie
Kevan Wylie, MB MMedSc MD FRCP FRCPsych FRCOG FECSM FAcadMEd IF FRSPH, is the current President of the European Federation of Sexology (EFS) through 2020. For WAS, Kevan was chair of the Scientific Committee between 2005 & 2009. He served as President of the 2011 Congress of the World Association for Sexual Health (WAS) held in Glasgow. From September 2012 Kevan was the President of WAS through 2017. He remains one of the four officers of the Association through 2021.
Eli Coleman
Eli Coleman, PhD is professor and director of the Program in Human Sexuality, Department of Family Medicine and Community Health, University of Minnesota. He holds the first and only endowed academic chair in sexual health. Author of numerous articles and books on compulsive sexual behavior, sexual offenders, sexual orientation, gender dysphoria, chemical dependency and family intimacy and on the psychological and pharmacological treatment of a variety of sexual dysfunctions and disorders. Professor Coleman is the founding and current editor of the International Journal of Sexual Health (IJSH). He is one of the past-presidents of the WAS, SSSS, WPATH, IASR, and SSTAR. He has been a frequent technical consultant on sexual health issues to WHO, PAHO and CDC.
Eusebio Rubio-Aurioles
Eusebio Rubio-Aurioles obtained his MD at Universidad La Salle in Mexico City (1978) México D.F., and his PhD in the Program of Human Sexuality at New York University. (1988). He completed the post-doctoral training course in sex therapy at the Department of Psychiatry of the Mount Sinai Hospital of New York City (1983). Since 1984, he is professor at the Departamento de Psiquiatría y Salud Mental de la Facultad de Medicina UNAM. Since 2008, he also teaches at Hospital Fray Bernardino Alvarez to psychiatric residents, and 2014 he is also professor at Universidad La Salle. In 1987, he founded the Asociación Mexicana para la Salud Sexual, A.C. where he is the director and professor of a training process in psychosexual therapy and clinical sexology.

Rubén Hernández-Serrano, MD (UCV), Psychiatrist (Maudsley Hospital UK), Sexologist (UCV), MSc in Criminology (UCV), Professor in Forensic Psychiatry and Medical Legal Sexology, Central University Venezuela. Past President of the Venezuelan Society of Medical Sexology, the World Association for Sexual Health (WAS), the Latin American Federation of Sexology and Sex Education Societies (FLASSES)) and International Academy of Medical Sexology (AIMS). Honorary Chairman and Founder Psychiatry and Human Sexuality Section, the World Psychiatric Association (WPA). President of the IX World Congress of Sexology, Caracas (1989). President of O.C. International Symposia of Human Sexuality in Caracas (1-17th) (1978-2009). WAS Gold Medal 2013, Member of the Advisory Committee since foundation in 1978.
