WAS Gold Medal: Recognizing Lifelong Career Excellence in the Field of Sexual Health and Sexology 2021: A first call for nominations

WAS invites nominations for individuals to be considered for the prestigious WAS Gold Medal. This medal is presented in recognition of lifelong career contributions to the fields of sexual health and sexology. The award will be presented at the 2021 virtual/hybrid World Congress in Cape Town, South Africa, September 9-12, 2021. The WAS Gold Medal Award Committee has the responsibility of selecting the winners for the WAS Gold Medal Award. WAS Sexuality Education Award: Excellence and innovation in sexuality education 2021: A first call for nominations

In recognition of the special contribution sexuality educators make to the overall fields of education, health and sexology, the World Association for Sexual Health presents this prestigious award at each WAS Congress. Our next World Congress will take place in Cape Town, South Africa as a virtual/hybrid Congress. WAS invites nominations from individuals and organizations to be considered for the award. These awards are presented in three categories: Non-Government Organizations or Individuals Academic programmes Governmental and Government-sponsored programmes WAS Sexuality Education Committee (SEC) has the responsibility of voting to select the winners for the WAS Education Awards. WAS Conversations Session 8

Welcome to WAS Conversations Session 8, a 90-minute monthly series dedicated to advance sexual health and rights for all, this time presented in association with the Kinsey Institute.Session 8 is devoted to research on sexuality and sexual health during the COVID-19 pandemic. The speakers will present a selection of findings from qualitative and quantitative research projects that, together, involve several continents and well over 35 countries.
