Tribute to Richard Green

It is with great sadness that we announce that Richard Green, one of the founders of and most influential contributors to modern sex research, died in London Sunday morning April 7, at the age of 82. Dr. Green was a psychiatrist and a lawyer. He had worked with Harry Benjamin, John Money, Robert Stoller, among others, and he was as much committed to science as he was to action and social justice. He helped pave the road for the medical care of transgendered individuals, at the University of California, and he was a major force in the depathologization of homosexuality, (more…)
